In reality, IRS data shows the largest benefits went to middle- and working-class Americans, not the top 1%. The tax reforms helped average families, contrary to Harris’ misleading assertion.
2. Fabricating a ‘Trump Sales Tax’
Harris falsely stated that Trump would implement a national sales tax if re-elected. Trump has made no such proposal, making this claim baseless. Harris’ attempt to scare voters with the idea of a future tax hike under Trump is simply untrue.
3. National Abortion Monitor Myth
Harris suggested that Trump would create a national “abortion monitor” if re-elected. This claim is a complete fabrication, as Trump’s platform leaves abortion decisions up to the states and makes no mention of any such federal oversight program.
4. Jan. 6 Was the ‘Worst Attack on Democracy’
Harris contended that the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot was the worst attack on democracy since the Civil War. This hyperbole ignores the severity of other historical events like the Pearl Harbor attacks or 9/11, which had far greater implications for American security and democracy.
5. Trump Is Against IVF
Harris falsely accused Trump of opposing in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments. Trump has never taken a stance against IVF, and Harris’ claim is nothing more than a scare tactic aimed at misleading voters about his reproductive health policies.
