Jessica Rivera, a mother in Atlanta, thought her holiday wish was fulfilled when listeners of 104.7 The Fish sent hundreds of Christmas cards to her son, Airman Logan Rivera, stationed in California. What she didn’t expect was a Christmas miracle—Logan walking into the studio during a live broadcast.
Jessica had requested cards for Logan as part of the station’s Christmas Wish program, hoping to brighten his first Christmas away from home. However, the radio station went a step further, secretly working with the Air Force to arrange Logan’s return.
Arriving early Thursday morning, Logan made his way to the studio just as his mother was thanking listeners live on air. Host Beth Bacall teased, “Wouldn’t it be great if you could hand deliver them to your son?” before Logan walked in, prompting an emotional reunion.
Jessica hugged her son tightly, exclaiming, “Oh my God!” over and over as tears streamed down her face. The reunion was a touching moment that highlighted the love between a mother and her son.
Logan expressed his gratitude for his mother’s devotion, and Chick-fil-A Atlanta added to the celebration by gifting Jessica a year’s worth of free meals.
“This is what Christmas is all about—bringing families together,” Bacall said. The heartwarming moment was a reminder of the power of love and the true spirit of the season.
