CCP Spying Intensifies Under Biden-Harris, House Report Reveals

A congressional report from the House Homeland Security Committee has revealed a significant increase in Chinese Communist Party (CCP) espionage activities during the Biden-Harris administration. The report, released by the Subcommittee on Counterterrorism, Law Enforcement, and Intelligence, outlines more than 55 instances of CCP-linked espionage across 20 states since 2021.

Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) detailed the findings, highlighting various forms of espionage, including the theft of military and corporate secrets, as well as efforts to suppress Chinese dissidents in the U.S. One of the most notable cases involved Ji Chaoqun, a Chinese national sentenced to eight years in prison in 2023 for attempting to recruit American scientists to help the CCP.

Another case of concern occurred earlier this year, when Chinese nationals attempted to breach the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in California. These incidents demonstrate a growing pattern of CCP interference in U.S. national security.

The report also shows an alarming increase in Chinese nationals being apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border. In Fiscal Year 2024 alone, over 36,000 Chinese individuals were detained, exceeding the total apprehensions from 2007 to 2020 combined.

As these revelations come to light, the Biden-Harris administration faces growing criticism for its handling of Chinese espionage. Both Democratic nominee Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz are under investigation for their alleged connections to China, raising concerns about national security as the U.S. grapples with increasing CCP interference.
