The Rome Police Department received an email alleging a bomb threat against Greene. A responding officer driving his personal vehicle to join the bomb squad was involved in a crash en route, killing an innocent woman and injuring the officer.
Investigators traced the email to a Russian IP address. Greene has vowed to work with federal and state authorities to bring those responsible to justice.
