Trump Promises Overhaul Of Universities To Restore Accountability

President Donald Trump has unveiled a comprehensive plan to overhaul the American higher education system, targeting leftist indoctrination and soaring tuition costs. His proposed reforms aim to return universities to their core mission of providing a quality education that prepares students for successful careers.

At the heart of Trump’s plan is a major shakeup of the college accreditation system. He criticized current accreditors for failing to hold institutions accountable and allowing radical ideologies to dominate campuses. Trump pledged to replace these accreditors with organizations focused on rigorous standards and academic integrity.

To reduce tuition costs, Trump proposed eliminating unnecessary administrative roles and Marxist Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) offices. He also called for affordable degree options, accelerated programs, and increased transparency about the value of a college education.

Trump’s plan also includes new accountability measures, such as entrance and exit exams to ensure students are actually learning. Colleges would be required to improve job placement services, providing clear pathways to employment for graduates.

Another key element of the proposal is a crackdown on racial discrimination disguised as equity initiatives. Trump announced plans to direct the Department of Justice to prosecute universities engaging in illegal practices, with fines potentially equal to their entire endowments.

“America’s colleges have been taken over by radical ideologies and leftist agendas,” Trump said. “We’re going to reclaim these institutions and make sure they’re benefiting students, taxpayers, and our nation as a whole.”
