Trump And Biden Hold High-Dollar Fundraising Events As 2024 Race Heats Up

Both former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden have held high-dollar fundraising events in recent months as the 2024 presidential race intensifies.

Trump’s campaign said it raised $50.5 million at a fundraising event in Palm Beach Florida last month setting a new single-event fundraising record according to the Associated Press.

Biden’s campaign reported raising $26 million at a Radio City Music Hall event in March with former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

The cheapest tickets for the event went for $225 but donors who contributed more received additional perks such as a photo with all three presidents for $100,000 and access to exclusive receptions for donations of $250,000 and $500,000.
