Musk Warns Ukraine War Backers Have No Plan To Stop Bloodshed

Elon Musk challenged leaders who continue to support the Ukraine war during a Fox News interview, saying too many are choosing image over solutions while lives are being lost in large numbers. Speaking with Brett Baier, Musk made it clear that support without strategy leads to nothing but pain.

Baier asked Musk to explain why he accused Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) of being a traitor after Kelly promoted more U.S. weapons for Ukraine. Musk replied that any lawmaker who values a foreign government’s interest above the American people’s does not deserve a pass. “We should care about the interests of the United States above the interests of another country,” Musk said.

When Baier brought up Kelly’s background as a decorated veteran and astronaut, Musk stood firm. He said that doesn’t justify placing another country’s goals ahead of the United States. “It doesn’t mean it’s okay for him to put the interests of another country above America,” he said.

Musk turned the conversation to the battlefield. He said thousands have lost their lives each week while control of the front lines has not changed. In his view, the deaths have served no meaningful purpose. “Thousands of people have died every week for nothing,” he said.

He sharply criticized those who argue that appearing tough on Russia is more important than saving lives. “Those who virtue signal and say, ‘Oh, we can’t give in to Russia,’ but have no solution to stopping thousands of kids dying every day. They just want that to continue forever,” Musk said.

He pointed out the emotional toll the war is taking on families, saying it leaves children without fathers and parents without sons. “For what? Nothing,” Musk said.
