‘Libs Of TikTok’ Creator Raichik On Oklahoma Advisory Board

Influential culture warrior and defender of children’s innocence Chaya Raichik has a new role — to serve on the Oklahoma State Department of Education’s Library Media Advisory Committee (LMAC). And leftists are outraged.

The board is a voluntary group of parents, librarians and English teachers established to ensure that explicit content is not available to young readers in public schools.

The creator of the wildly popular Libs of TikTok account was appointed by Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters. He declared that he is excited to have her on the team protecting some of the most vulnerable citizens of the state.

Walters noted Raichik “is on the front lines showing the world exactly what the radical left is all about — lowering standards, porn in schools and pushing woke indoctrination on our kids.”

The education official credited his new appointee for exposing American families to what schools are attempting to hide.

After the announcement, Raichik posted on X, formerly Twitter, “WE WILL GET PORN OUT OF SCHOOLS!”

Democratic state Rep. Jacob Rosencrants blasted Raichik’s appointment. He said it “isn’t a good thing for Oklahoma” while criticizing Walters for being “way into far-right national stuff rather than, ya know, superintendent-ing our public schools here.”

Another Democrat, state Rep. Mickey Dollens, criticized Walters for appointing someone who does not have an educational background to the board.

Dollens asked, “Is she a librarian? No. Education background? No. Does she even live in Oklahoma? No.”

He added, “Is she a right-wing extremist social media influencer responsible for perpetuating repeated bomb threats on Oklahoma public schools? Yes.”

Walters was undeterred by the leftist criticism. In a statement to Fox News Digital, he instead doubled down on his defense of the powerful social commentator.

The superintendent wrote, “Chaya Raichik and I have developed a strong working relationship to rid schools of liberal, woke indoctrinators, union smut peddlers, and Epstein Island advocates. Oklahoma is ground zero to take back our schools from the radical leftists.”

The state Board of Education voted last March to require notification of parents if a child decided to change their gender identity or pronouns. It also enacted a long overdue ban on pornographic materials in schools.

Both proposals began with Walters.
