Vice President JD Vance took aim at pro-Ukraine activists on Saturday after they trailed him and his 3-year-old daughter during a walk, shouting slogans until his child became distressed.
Vance shared his frustration in a post on X, writing, “Today while walking my 3 year old daughter a group of ‘Slava Ukraini’ protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared.” He said he confronted the protesters, attempting to calm tensions in exchange for them leaving his child alone.
JD Vance’s young daughter was harassed by Ukraine flag 🇺🇦 protestors.
I expect this to be a national scandal and front page news for the next 24H, at least.
Because I *KNOW* that if a MAGA protestor was seen harassing a Democratic politician’s children, that would happen.

“(Nearly all of them agreed.) It was a mostly respectful conversation, but if you’re chasing a 3-year-old as part of a political protest, you’re a s*** person,” he wrote.
NEW: Footage has emerged showing U.S. Vice President JD Vance engaging calmly with pro-Ukrainian protesters who, according to Vance, had been following and shouting near him and his 3-year-old daughter during a walk, causing her to become anxious and scared.

The Trump administration’s diplomatic approach to the Ukraine conflict has sparked intense reactions. Following a high-stakes White House meeting between President Donald Trump, Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, demonstrators have ramped up their attacks on the administration’s peace efforts.
According to reports, pro-Ukraine protesters have also stationed themselves outside Vance’s Cincinnati home. Similar demonstrations targeted him last weekend in Vermont, where activists claimed they were responding to the administration’s insistence on cutting military aid to Ukraine.
The administration’s strategy appears to be shifting the situation. Zelensky, under mounting pressure, recently signaled his willingness to sign a rare earth mineral deal, securing economic benefits for the U.S. while stepping away from total reliance on military aid.
